|Microsoft Bot Framework: changing how we communicate with users (Tom Morgan)
Three-Quarters of American smartphone users download a grand total of ZERO new apps a month. We spend the majority of our screen time using just three apps, with the average American spending half their time in just one – and it’s a messaging app. Move over apps: bots are an important part of the UC jigsaw, they’re disruptive, and they’re here to stay. The Microsoft Bot Framework lets everyone (not just developers) create new communication applications and harness the power of Microsoft Cognitive Services to interact with users in new and exciting ways. In this talk we’ll look at the different tools available for building bots and how the Bot Framework integrates with Skype, Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams so that you can not only create a great bot experience but also deliver it to users in the ways they expect. Expect lots of live demos!
